List of Our Deer Removal Projects
- Village of Barton Hills- Our crew worked here for 10 years while removing 50 deer per year. We removed deer since they were causing property damage apart from browsing throughout the village. Over 18,000 lbs. of deer meat was donated for human consumption.
- City of Jackson and Jackson County Parks- Here we removed 600 deer in a span of over nine years. Deer were damaging flora and fauna in the area and were overbrowsing. The incidents of vehicle-deer accidents were high too. Over 35,000 lbs. of meat was donated for human consumption.
- Jackson County Airport- After multiple plane/deer strikes, we were called for the eradication of 38 deer. The low fence along the southern part of the airport has had a lesser deer population since then. Over 1,500 lbs. of deer meat was donated for human consumption.
- Young's Orchard- We have removed around 35-40 deer at this location for the past 10 years. Our team tried to apply hazing tactics, but they were minimally effective. To save crop damage, we organize controlled hunts. The deer have been overbrowsing throughout the orchard during bad winters, causing extensive damage to the property and resulting in extreme loss of income to the farmer. Over 1,500 lbs. of deer meat was donated for human consumption.
- University of Michigan-Dearborn- We conducted this shoot to remove an excessive number of deer. Apart from a high number of vehicle vs. deer accidents, deer would go into neighboring subdivisions at night and browse the foliage around houses. Our team removed 43 deer in three nights of shooting. Over 2,800 lbs. of deer meat was donated for human consumption.
- Otto's Farms and Braun's Farms- Deer caused crop damage on this farm. Our team was called in to remove 10 deer from the sites. Over 400 lbs. of meat was donated for human consumption.
